Welly Wanging (also known as Wellie
Wanging) is a well known sport which has
been around for a while. The Wikipedia entry suggests that it originated
in the village of Upperthong is also
allegedly the headquarters of the World
Wellie Wanging Association. We suspect
that this is because the Wikipedia entry
was written by the good citizens of the
village of Upperthon.
The Welsh Welly Wanging Championship
is not associated with the World Wellie
Wanging Association but broadly follow
the Association's principles as
published on the above referenced
